Penis augmentation is the process of enlarging the penis. This can be achieved by various treatments including oral medications, traction devices, platelet rich plasma (PRP), Botox dermal filler, or surgery. There are of course advantages and disadvantages to each of these options for penis augmentation. We offer penile PRP, Botox and dermal filler for penis enlargement and believe that these are the most effective and least invasive treatment options available.
Frequently Asked Questions About Penis Enlargement with Dermal Fillers
What is Penis Augmentation and how can it be achieved?
How does Botox work for penis enlargement?
There are a few potential mechanisms by which the injection of neuromodulators, like Botox, can result in penis enlargement, one of which is by relaxing the penile retraction reflex. This causes the flaccid length of the penis to become longer, and there is less shrinkage in cold environments. Botox" also works to relax smooth muscle to allow more blood flow into the penis and allows the nervous system to encourage higher quality erections.

How are dermal penile fillers different from PRP?
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is an all-natural solution of concentrated platelets made from the patient's own blood. Platelets possess a variety of growth factors and proteins with powerful reparative and healing properties. There is solid scientific evidence demonstrating that PRP is a powerful tool for penile enlargement. PRP works to increase penis size from the inside out.
The challenge with PRP is that we are not able to predict consistent or precise results, as the outcomes of this treatment depend greatly on the response of the body to the PRP treatment. This is why we have chosen to offer penile dermal fillers as well. Fillers placed in the deep subcutaneous tissue of the penis allow for more precise and predictable increases in penis girth, enlarging the penis from the outside in so to speak.
Are these solutions permanent? Or how long do the results last?
The body will gradually break down the filler over a period of 12-18 months, so the results are not permanent. At your 12 month follow up you can opt to add additional filler (usually half of the original amount) to maintain the extra penis girth. Botox treatments last, on average, 3-4 months. However, the length of the treatment effect will be determined by how quickly your body metabolizes the Botox. PRP is also not a permanent solution; however, by injecting the growth factors and nutrients within the PRP, we rejuvenate the tissue, and the effects can last a couple of years.
Am I a good candidate for enlargement therapy?
If you're feeling dissatisfied with your penis size or appearance, penile enlargement may help boost your confidence. That said, it’s common for men to have a distorted perception of their actual size, often influenced by unrealistic comparisons. During your initial consultation, we’ll have an open and respectful conversation about your goals, expectations, and what can realistically be achieved.
Your private, confidential consultation is designed to give you space to ask questions, express concerns, and fully understand the procedure before making a decision. Your physician will walk you through the potential risks and benefits, and perform a physical exam to assess your unique anatomy and recommend the best approach tailored to your needs.
However, if you're navigating emotional distress, relationship difficulties, or hoping that penile enlargement will resolve deeper psychological concerns, this procedure may not be the right solution at this time. In such cases, counseling or emotional support may be more appropriate before considering aesthetic intervention.
How much filler will I need and when will I see results?
There is significant variation from patient to patient. The amount of girth gained depends on the length of the penis and the amount of filler injected. A shorter penis will require less filler, and conversely, a longer penis will require more filler.
The safest and most effective approach is to add girth cumulatively, in manageable steps, and with repeat visits rather than ‘all in one go’.
As the recovery time is quite short, it is not a major inconvenience to have a small amount of additional filler on a subsequent visit should that be desired. Patients can see results instantly.
How do I prepare for the procedure?
No pre-procedure preparation is required! To reduce the risk of infection, we ask that you shower and wash the area before any treatment and maintain self-hygiene afterwards. Of course, don't forget to be hydrated and eat that day. You'll need to look over the information package and familiarize yourself with the pre- and post-procedure instructions.
How long does it take to see results?
Results from penile fillers are instant! Your penis will be thicker immediately after the treatment. Note that dermal filler will not impact the length of your penis. However, if desired, the Botox and PRP treatment can enhance length. Botox treatment can take S-7 days to establish the full effect, and PRP treatment is conducted over five months.
Is it safe to get penile filler?
Penile dermal filler is the safest medical approach available to instantly thicken the penis and is considerably safer than surgery. Complications are rare and are usually minor, including temporary swelling and mild bruising. You will be awake during the entire procedure (so there is no need for general anesthesia), and no stitches are required.
What kind of filler will I get?
We use a proprietary blend of filler that consists of either hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxylapatite, or a blend of both. In most cases, these fillers are dissolvable, and the procedure is reversible.
What can I expect in terms of results?
After the first treatment with penile filler, many patients report approximately 1" or 20% increase in girth. We recommend that patients start treatment with 6-12 ml of filler.
Using higher volumes of filler at the first session can cause unnatural-looking results regarding the proportional appearance of the head in relation to the thickness of the shaft.
Excessive filler can also cause an unwelcome softer or more padded texture to the erect penis. In addition, adding large amounts of filler all at once will result in excessive skin stretching. Ultimately, it is possible to have more filler, but this must be done progressively to achieve the best result with the highest level of safety.
The doctor will determine the total amount of filler and your girth limit. Botox and PRP results are less precise, as each patient responds to treatment differently.
Approximately 80-92% of patients who receive the Botox and PRP treatments are satisfied with their results.
Is the filler procedure painful?
Your comfort is our priority, so we offer four levels of pain management: a topical numbing agent, a local anesthetic, and small amounts of anesthetic incorporated into all injectable products. We also offer Pronox during your treatment. Pronox is a mix of nitrous oxide and oxygen that can be inhaled during treatment to provide an analgesic effect.
How long do penile fillers last?
The duration of the results varies from one to two years. Patients will need to repeat the treatment again (usually with less filler) to maintain their increased penis size. Supplementation of collagen has been thought to promote longer longevity of fillers and may be considered in your nutritional regimen.
What kind of filler am I getting? And how much will I need?
We use a proprietary blend of filler that consists of either hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxyapatite or a blend of both. There is a lot of variation from patient to patient and the amount of girth gained depends on both the amount of filler injected and the length of the penis. A shorter penis will require less filler, and a longer penis will require more. On average, patients start with 12-13 ml of filler and may add more at subsequent visits until the desired result is achieved.
Is there any down time associated with getting penile filler treatment?
We ask that you refrain from sexual activity (including masturbation) for 2 weeks after the procedure to allow adequate time for the filler to set. Also, be cautious when engaging in strenuous exercise and avoid the risk of trauma to the area until the filler has set.
How long will the treatment take?
The procedure can take less than an hour door to door. You can leave the clinic by driving yourself home.
How long is the recovery period?
Most men return to work or school the next day. There may be some mild bruising that can last up to a week after the procedure. Sex and masturbation can be resumed after 2 weeks, but ideally, 4 weeks to prevent filler migration.
Can the procedure be done on the same day as my consultation?
Yes. Our team is happy to accommodate same-day consultation and procedure requests. Please call our clinic to schedule your consultation and procedure to take place all on the same day.
How much does penis augmentation cost?
Depending on the type of treatment you choose, penis augmentation procedures can range from 500 $/ml. During your consultation with the doctor, you will review the options and outline the associated costs. Dr.Laurent's clinic works closely with Medicard by iFinance.
What if I live out of town?
We routinely receive requests for consultation from men via Zoom or telehealth.
For all out-of-town clients, the initial consultation may be done in advance.
Depending on your treatment plan and which treatments you wish to have, the procedure is then performed in under an hour on average in our surgical clinic, allowing us to keep wait times short. Patients can return to normal activities immediately afterwards.
If you need recommendations on accommodations, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
What is Scrotox?
Scrotox is a treatment in which a neuromodulator is injected to relax the muscles in areas of the scrotum that cause wrinkles and raise/lower the testicles. The neuromodulators will cause the wrinkles to essentially disappear, resulting in lower hanging and fuller-appearing testicles for more sexual stimulation and a larger appearance.
Is it safe to get Botox in my scrotum?
As with all procedures, there is a certain degree of risk, including post-treatment discomfort, swelling, redness and bruising and risks of infections or allergic reactions. The injection of Botox into the scrotum paralyzes the ability of the testicles to descend.
The reflex of these muscles, causing the ascent and descent of the testicles, is essential for temperature regulation, to ensure the healthy production of sperm. By temporarily paralyzing this reflex, we introduce the risk of infertility. Good candidates for Scrotox are those who do not wish to father children.
What is Grotox?
Grotoxis a treatment where neuromodulators are injected to relax the dartos muscle, which causes retraction of the penis. A hyperactive penile retraction reflex can result in drastic variation in penis flaccid versus erect size and in some cases can cause pain. Treatment with neuromodulators can blunt the retraction reflex and allow the penis to protrude more without eliminating the reflex. This result is a penis with increased flaccid length. *Note: erect length remains unchanged. Results of this treatment do not become apparent until 5-7 days after treatment, and a follow-up appointment is scheduled 1-2 weeks after the procedure to determine if more product is required.
Is it safe to get Botox in my penis?
Yes,
However, with all procedures, there are small risks, including post-treatment discomfort, swelling, redness and bruising and risks of infections or allergic reactions.
The injection of Botox into the penis does not pose a significant risk of infertility as might an infusion into the scrotum.
What to expect during the penile filler treatment?
The procedure will begin with cleansing the surgical field, and application of a numbing agent. The physician will then inject a small amount of local anesthetic which will freeze the area, to allow us to perform the procedure while you are fully awake. Once the freezing agent has set in, we will begin the filler procedure where we will make two small injection sites causing minimal trauma and allowing us to distribute the filler evenly. This portion of the procedure lasts about 20 minutes.During the entire procedure you will be able to listen to some music, watch a television program or read a book. Our priority is to ensure you have a great experience and get a great result!
Some possible side effects you may experience after treatment include:
- Edema (swelling) at the injection areas
- Ecchymosis (bruising) or bleeding around the injection sites
- Itching or redness around the injection site
- Mild discomfort around the area
